In a bowl or a bag, toss the wings with oil and a bit of Rubway to Heaven rub. Marinate for several hours or overnight.
Preheat the grill to around 180–200°C for indirect heat. Grill or smoke the wings for about 30–40 minutes, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Near the end of the cooking time, brush with maple syrup and let it caramelize briefly.
