Whether it\u2019s on burgers, BBQ pulled pork, chili cheese fries, ribs, enchiladas, sloppy joes, nachos, or so much more&#8230; Chili Cheese Sauce makes everything better!<\/p>\n<p>Our recipe for Thunder Chili Cheese Sauce, featuring the spicy Southern-style &#8220;Thunder Rub,&#8221; is quick to make and wonderfully creamy and spicy. This sauce is a must-have in any kitchen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-large\">Preparation:<\/p>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-large\">In a medium saucepan, melt the butter, then slowly stir in the flour and cook until the mixture is lightly browned. Gradually whisk in the milk and continue heating until the milk is just about to boil, but do not let it boil. Add &#8220;Thunder Rub,&#8221; cream cheese, cheddar, and jalape\u00f1o, stirring for a few minutes until the cheese has melted and you reach the perfect texture. Adjust with more milk or cheddar as needed to get your desired consistency.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-large\">The sauce will firm up as it cools, so reheat gently while stirring. A water bath works especially well for this.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-large\">Tips:<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-large\">Once cooled, the sauce can be portioned, vacuum-sealed, and frozen. To use, simply reheat in a pot of water and serve straight from the bag.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-large\">It\u2019s worth experimenting with different cheeses. For example, I like to replace half of the cheddar with provolone.
